OUR STORY

Naturally Nice includes a wide variety vegetables, fruit, baking, honey, jams, soap, produced at our farm located near Meadow Lake, SK.

Roger and I (Vicki) have both grown up on farms where our parents grew a large garden out of necessity.  Every year we have also grown a large productive garden to feed our family, enjoying the great tasting produce while at the same time benefiting from the nutritional and financial benefits a garden provides.

We have 3 grown children and 7 beautiful grandchildren.  Roger has been a carpenter for the last 30+ years and I have worked in a bank for 25+ years, then owned a cookie dough franchise and now am living my dream - growing food for market.  Ok not everyday is "living my dream"!

In 2013 we decided to start ourselves an orchard and market garden with the dream of someday having customers come to our farm to pick and purchase our products.  To get the dream in action we planted 6000+ haskap plants in 2014 and 2015.  Now for us that is alot of hand planting!  2015, 2016, and 2017 had us adding raspberries, strawberries, sour cherries, apples, black currents, plums and rhubarb to the fruit repetoire. In 2015 we also began growing a variety of vegetables and attending the farmers' market in Meadow Lake and Loon Lake.  Presently we attend 2 markets each weekend (Meadow Lake, Loon Lake), rent and stock an indoor market year round, (Meadow Mouse Marketplace in Meadow Lake) and have customers come out to the farm to purchase our fruit and produce.  2018 had us once again expanding-this time planting strawberry plants, expanding the veggie garden by 50%, trying to get some gates made.

Naturally Nice is pleased to offer our much appreciated customers the option to order online with the option of having the order either brought to the indoor market, delivered to an address in Meadow Lake,  or picked up at our farm.  Once the farmers' market is open for the season,  pickup of online orders can also be picked up there.
